In good weather conditions, a balloon ride is possible all year round in the Tannheimer Tal. In summer, the balloons float along the Lech in the direction of the Allgäu, where, with a little luck, you can admire King Ludwig II's Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle from above. In winter, the balloons start in the Tannheimer Tal and travel directly over the Tannheimer Tal to the Bavarian foothills of the Alps.

The highlight of winter is the balloon festival, which always takes place in January.
